In our continuing quest to uncover Rosendale’s 200 year history, we have made an absolutely fascinating discovery. Among the old papers and documents we were going through last week, we found the Guestbook and the attending newspaper article (glued in it) for a February 7, 1908 luncheon in honor of Ellen Axson Wilson, the future […]
What guests are saying:
I found your bed and breakfast cozy, comfortable, and truly a ‘home away from home.’ Your breakfasts were a perfect start to my day, and your hospitality was very generous and very much appreciated.
Darlene and Ed R.
This was our third stay. Your breakfasts are fantastic. Our favorite has always been the French toast topped with cherry sauce, until you served us the olive oil grilled white asparagus spears wrapped with prosiutto ham and egg on top. It was simply scrumptious.
Thanks for being so hospitable to us. We loved our time here.
Thanks for all of the hospitality.
Richard and Marie H
A great place and a great host.

We hiked the 20 acre property located at the base of the mountain, and discovered a “mansion” rich in history beyond our imagination…The “Museum room” is a must see. To top it all off, our restored suite of two large rooms and a king bed was pristine and very comfortable, the gourmet food was great (Creole scrambled eggs, hash browns, and country sausage), and we made new friends at the breakfast table. We will be back next year for our great escape.

A very nice B&B. We had a great visit.
Our first bed and breakfast experience was most enjoyable. The storied history of your area and the cave experience in addition to being with our family at your remarkable residence were the most unique aspects of our out-of-state wedding.
R.S. and family
Thank you for your gracious hospitality of your most pleasant bed and breakfast.
Mr. & Mrs B.C.P.
J and I had a wonderful vacation and the two of you and your home were the ones which started it off in grand style. We still remark about how we felt as though we were staying at someone’s house (which we were) as opposed to staying at a building that someone had turned into a B&B.
Angela and David
Thank you both for such a great setting for our honeymoon. You are excellent hosts and we went back home relaxed.
Bob and Wendy
Loved the fireflies and great hospitality…We’ll be back.
Roy and Kathy
Many thanks for a very nice weekend.

Our first experience at staying at a B&B was wonderful because of you.
Beautiful home and views.
Danielle and Sean
Thank you for a most tranquil stay.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will long remember the beauty and kindness given us here.
Three special days in October.

I thought I would send you a note to say Thank You! Mike and I really enjoyed our stay at your home. It is a very beautiful place and I hope that we may come back sometime. Many thanks.
Many thanks again for making ‘our day’ in the mountains so special. We are still talking to each other and others about your wonderful place. We wish you joy and success.
